Our Projects and its Impact

Urmee partners with local communities and CSR funders for sustainable development in five key areas:

Education: Reached over 40,000 students in 430+ schools across Pune, Raigad, Satara, and surrounding districts via inclusive learning, STEM, sports, art, and infrastructure upgrades (classrooms, toilets, libraries, playgrounds).

Health & Nutrition: Delivered hygiene, sanitation, and nutrition programs to 20,000+ schoolchildren. Provided water filters, hand wash stations, BMI and hemoglobin screening, and health workshops in vulnerable blocks.

Community Well-Being: Supported 750+ children yearly in orphanages and old age homes, ran literacy and financial education for 400+ rural adults, and organized workshops for differently-abled children.

Disaster Relief: Supplied emergency aid kits to 25,000 families during COVID-19 and flood crises. Mobilized timely help for slum dwellers, sex workers, transgenders, tribal families, and flood victims across 10 districts.

Environment: Planted and conserved 2,400+ native trees, led plastic-free and water conservation campaigns, and organized widespread environmental rallies and school drives.

Skill Enhancement: Equipped tribal and orphanage youth with vocational skills (soap, tailoring, candle, sanitizer making, etc.) for self-sustenance. Over 400 students benefited.
